Having faced exclusion from several church communities because of his sexuality, Stephen’s deconstruction journey led him to reimagine life beyond traditional evangelicalism. Those experiences shaped a deep passion for helping others feel seen and supported as they ask difficult questions and explore faith in new ways.

He never let past church traumas keep him from pursuing faith communities, and now participates in a supportive church where doubts and questions are embraced as part of the journey and that has allowed him to serve in leadership.

Stephen focuses on cultivating thoughtful and welcoming community spaces where honest conversations can flourish and people can connect easily with meaningful resources and one another. Drawing on a background in frontend UI design, he also values creating digital environments that are intuitive, accessible, and inviting for users. Outside of this work, he is a passionate coffee hobbyist, enjoys reading through a growing collection of books on history, faith, and deconstruction, and loves hosting game nights with friends.
