This month, for Women's History Month, we are spotlighting incredible women leaders in the church and faith-based spaces on The New Evangelicals Podcast. Our Educational Courses are focused on Women in the Bible, and Advocacy Hour is centering an essential conversation on Reproductive Justice. We've also launched our brand news series Why I Deconstructed on our Youtube channel! Be sure to catch up on all the latest episodes and content. We are also full steam ahead on our FAITH THAT HEALS fundraising goal of $50k this month.

We have some big plans unfolding for TNE including more storytelling series and the possibility of an in-person gathering in 2027! Your support truly means the world to me and to our entire team.

Thank you for being part of this movement.

NEW MERCH

Matthew 5:13 - Be the salt of the earth.

Proceeds from every Salt Melts ICE shirt goes to support The CIRCLE Project - an immigrant action committee in Minnesota providing culturally-responsive and trauma-informed mental health care for youth in Minneapolis Public Schools. Their clinicians work alongside trusted community members to reduce barriers to care for resilient families from Afghanistan, East Africa, and Latin America.

TNE Action is your hub for putting faith into action. Dismantling Christian Nationalism and building a more just, inclusive society requires more than conversation. TNE Action equips, connects, and mobilizes you to stand up for your neighbors and advocate for real change. You can find petitions, events to attend, resources to help your advocacy, and of course, organizations we recommend partnering with.

I love the Tim and April show and though I'm not a Christian anymore, I want to not become fundamentalist in the opposite

direction and silence all voices in the Christian community. Tim's compassion and openness to difficult conversations keeps me coming back to hear more each week and reminds me that Christianity still has valid perspectives and progressive

voices.

Do you want to contribute to our Substack? We're always looking for thoughtful, justice-centered essays that challenge harmful theology, speak truth to power, and embody inclusive, empathetic faith. Send us your thoughts and we might feature you on our feed!

We're excited to release Episode 1 of our new mini-series, Why I Deconstructed.

Over the next two months, we'll be sharing powerful stories from members of our community on why they deconstructed, what they've learned, and where their faith is now.

These conversations are honest, vulnerable, and deeply resonant for anyone navigating their own journey.

We know that it's so easy to feel isolated, especially as you've deconstructed a lot of your evangelical beliefs. Our platform, TNE Connect, has been our best way of providing valuable connection to members of the TNE community, access to courses, and resources for theology and activism. Available on your desktop or as an app on your phone, so you can choose to engage in the most accessible way for you!

The New Evangelicals is a digital-first 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to creating a better path forward at the intersection of faith, politics, and culture. Through educational resources and inclusive community spaces, we empower people to reject Christian Nationalism and boldly advocate for their neighbors while holding onto a faith rooted in the way of Jesus: with love, justice, and compassion for all.
