The New Evangelicals is more than a nonprofit: it’s a growing movement reclaiming our faith from extremism and reshaping it into a force for justice, love, and collective liberation.
As we move closer to the midterm election season, this quarter’s fundraising campaign focuses on civic engagement, moral leadership, and the role people of faith play in shaping a more just, compassionate, and inclusive society. Faith in Action is about participating with care and integrity in the day-to-day of our communities.
Your generosity makes it possible for us to offer resources, courses, and spaces that center dignity, justice, and healing.
Fundraising goal: $50,000
Faith in Action: Your Voice Matters is rooted in the belief that faith calls us to participate in the world around us with integrity, courage, empathy, and responsibility. This campaign is not about partisan loyalty. It is about helping people understand why civic participation matters, how systems impact real people, and why disengagement cannot be the answer when communities are hurting.
Your support helps us:
-
Build bridges across difference through powerful, honest storytelling
-
Create spaces where faith, identity, and mental health can be explored without fear
-
Equip a new generation of creators, advocates, and leaders
-
Amplify diverse voices across faith traditions and lived experiences
KEY INITIATIVES & IMPACT
Over the next few months, TNE will highlight voices already doing meaningful work through advocacy, storytelling, organizing, education, art, and community leadership. We will provide educational resources, workshops, conversations, and storytelling initiatives designed to help people better understand how to engage public life in thoughtful, informed, and values-centered ways.
Faith & Democracy
This campaign will also support the development of TNE’s broader Faith & Democracy initiative leading into the fall courses, helping equip our community with practical tools for civic engagement, media literacy, moral leadership, and faithful participation in public life.
Moving Beyond Outrage
Our goal is to help people move beyond outrage and helplessness toward meaningful action rooted in love, justice, dignity, and collective care. We believe people of faith have a responsibility to help create the kind of world Jesus consistently pointed toward, one grounded in compassion, inclusion, accountability, and care for our neighbors.
TNE MUTUAL AID FUND
TNE is entirely funded by people like you. People who believe faith can and should be better. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your gift sustains this movement and keeps our work accessible to everyone who needs it. Give today and help us reclaim faith for the collective good. Join the movement!
And let's keep putting love into practice.
YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
The New Evangelicals is a non-profit organization, and this work is not possible without our generous community. We wanted to give back in a small way for all of the support shown during Giving Tuesday 2025. Check out our Donor Wall of Fame, and consider helping us keep the movement going!
THANK YOU
At The New Evangelicals, we believe faith in action looks like showing up for one another—especially in moments of need. With SNAP benefits scheduled to run out for many families, we’re launching a Mutual Aid Fund to help members of our community when they are in need.
We will be offering $100 grocery gift cards on a first-come, first-served basis until the fund runs out.
